It's a different experience going to Target with other students in advertising. I got to go with 3 planners the other day and we all got to talk about what a great Brand it is; good design; good consumer confidence; creative fun advertising; etc.My people understand the greatness that is Target.
And then I got to see lots more fabulously creative and funny ads at the Clio Awards Reel Screening. We carpooled with the few students that have cars and went to Coconut Grove (feels like Mill Valley or Larkspur, CA) to watch some ads on the big screen. The Clios is one of 3 prestigious awards that people in advertising like to be associated with or win. The other two are Cannes & The One Show. This Carlton Drought one was memorable and hilarious.
